All the updates to the Presto Park club are posted here, along with pictures. As this is the time when the new track is being constructed, there will be plenty of information updated regularly.
On Sunday 27th September 2009, Presto Park MMRC are hosting a 4 Hour Endurance Race, with 2 teams from Presto Park, 1 Team from Norwich Slot Racing, and 1 Team from Burnt Oak. Pictures to follow.
19/09/2009 JUNIOR CLUB STARTS!!! 'As of Saturday 19th September, Presto Park, will be having a Junior Club, from 2-5pm. It will consist of children in the local comunity and the clubs current junior racers. More information can be found on the 'Junior Club' page.'

NEW LAP RECORD!!!:
'After last Wednesday's racing, Mike Harvey set a new Lap Record, in the Classic F1 series. He previously held the Lap Record, with a time of 11.58 seconds. However last Wednesday, he bettered that, achieving a time of 10.93 seconds, over .6 of a second quicker. Congratulation's Mike!'

NEW TRACK:
'As many in the Presto Park club, and also in the circle of slot racer's, Presto Park are in the procsess of building a new track. The track has been routed by a local company, and is currently in construction. The track is a huge 85 feet in length, and made with smooth MDF.
Unlike most routed tracks, Presto Park are using Steel braid, instead of Copper Braid or tape. This means that members will still be able to use magnet cars, in our Mini Challenge class, and also during practice. Also, instead of having 8-9 marshalls on the current track, the new one will only need 5. This means that members can have more time preparing their cars. Recently, with the numbers of racers at the club increasing, it has been very tight in the club room. With the new track, there will be more room to work on the cars. Hopefully the track is going to be up and running in April - May time. Below is a track plan, of the new track.'
